End Punctuation Worksheets
Three marks, one choice per sentence. The sheet mixes statements, questions and exclamations in random order, because a sheet of nothing but questions teaches a child to answer by position rather than by reading.

What to watch for when you grade this sheet
- Using an exclamation point for anything that sounds interesting.
- Missing a question that does not begin with a question word.
- Defaulting to a period for every sentence on a long sheet.
One thing that helps
Read each one aloud. The voice rises at the end of a question and almost never does on a statement — the ear settles this faster than the eye.
