What to watch for when you grade this sheet
- Picking the first word that looks like a thing, rather than reading the whole sentence.
- Missing nouns that are also verbs in other sentences, like run or paint.
- Treating an adjective in front of a noun as part of the noun.
One thing that helps
Ask whether you can put 'the' or 'a' in front of the word. If you can, it is almost certainly a noun.
