Telling Time to the Hour Worksheets
Analog clocks are the clearest example on this site of something a screen cannot teach as well as paper. Reading a drawn clock face and writing the digital time underneath is a physical translation task, and it needs repetition on printed sheets.

What to watch for when you grade this sheet
- Reading the minute hand as the hour hand when both are near the top.
- Reading half past three as half past four, following the nearer number.
- Writing 3:30 as 3:6, counting marks rather than minutes.
One thing that helps
Cover the minute hand and ask only for the hour. If that is wrong, the problem is hand identification, not time telling.
