Uppercase Alphabet Tracing Worksheets
Capitals are easier than lowercase — almost all of them sit between two lines with no descenders and far fewer curves — which is why they are usually taught first and why a child can look further ahead than they are.

What to watch for when you grade this sheet
- Capitals written at lowercase height.
- B, D, P and R given the same bowl, so they become hard to tell apart.
- M and W drawn as rounded shapes rather than straight strokes.
One thing that helps
If capitals are fluent and lowercase is not, do not keep practicing capitals. The gap is the point, and lowercase is where real writing happens.
